The Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross cordially invites you to a gala dinner on the evening of Oct. 25, 2016 prior to the Tryon Concert Association’s concert featuring the Academy of Saint Martin in the Fields chamber ensemble.

The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. in the Holy Cross Parish Hall and will feature an English feast to include a Taste of Britain green salad, Devonshire chicken pie (a vegetarian version will be available), roasted asparagus with caramelized onion and sun dried tomato jam and a selection of English trifles for dessert.

Tickets will be available for advance purchase. A cash bar featuring fine wine will also be available.

You may call the church office at 828-859-9741 during office hours Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. to make a reservation. Tickets must be picked up and paid for with cash or check by Oct. 21. Tickets that are reserved but not picked up by the deadline of Oct. 21 will be released and will be available for purchase in person at the church office on Oct. 24 and 25. There will be no tickets available at the door on the evening of the dinner.   

All proceeds from the dinner will benefit the Holy Cross music program. Holy Cross has a proud and long-standing tradition of promoting fine music programs within the parish and for the wider community.
