Storefronts in downtown Landrum are displaying homemade scarecrows all month long in preparation for the city’s Halloween Stroll, to take place on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. Visitors to the downtown area can vote on their top three favorite businesses and the top school, using ballots that can be found at businesses along the downtown corridor. Voters are asked to then place their completed ballots at one of the kiosks downtown either next to Elaine’s Attic or The Hare and Hound Pub.
