The Rotary Club of Tryon’s 17th annual Shrimpfest was held on Sept. 17 at Harmon Field gymnasium.

Over 300 were in attendance and dined on shrimp, bratwurst and all the trimmings and many desserts. Following the meal, there was a live auction, door prizes and dancing.

Shrimpfest is one of the club’s events that raises money for scholarships and to support local community activities.
