Polk County’s Tana Harris teamed with Hannah Jenne for an 8-0 win in No. 1 doubles in Monday’s match.

T.C. Roberson showed Monday that it indeed has one of the top girls tennis teams in Western North Carolina, posting an 8-1 win over Polk County in a non-conference match in Skyland.

The senior-laden Rams swept all six singles matches in improving to 11-1 overall, their only loss earlier this season to Asheville.

Polk County’s No. 1 doubles team of Hannah Jenne and Tana Harris earned the lone point for the Wolverines, an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles.

The Wolverines (10-4) are slated to be back in action Tuesday, traveling to Avery for a Western Highlands Conference match, before beginning a four-match homestand on Thursday against Mountain Heritage.
