Isaiah Adderholdt is a sophomore at the South Carolina Governor’s School of the Arts and Humanities in Greenville, S.C., and has played the French horn since the
fourth grade. He is from Landrum, S.C. and was awarded a music scholarship to attend the Cannon Music Camp at ASU this summer by the Laurel Lake Music Society of Tryon Estates. This group is supported solely by donations from the residents of Tryon Estates.
He performed a mini-concert for the residents of Tryon Estates on Sept. 16 in conjunction with the Music Society fund campaign. His mother, Ester, accompanied him on the piano and provided background information. A group of approximately 40 attended the concert and all were impressed with the skill that Isaiah has in playing the French horn.
Isaiah has been studying with Anneka Zuehlke of the Greenville Symphony, Paula Riddle formerly of Furman University and Selena Adams of the U. S. Army Field Band. He has a bright future and the Laurel Lake Music Society is proud to have sponsored his training at the Cannon Music Camp.
