Polk District Court results for Sept. 7

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, with Judge T. Mack Brittain presiding, 121 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Derek Ray Bishop was convicted of uttering forged instrument. Bishop was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit, 24 months supervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.

David Thomas Bradley was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bradley was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

David Lynn Carter was convicted of simple possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Carter was sentenced to seven days in jail with credit, 24 months probation, a $200 fine and court costs.

Rebecca Celest Nesbitt was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Nesbitt was fined $40 and court costs.

Joshua E. Pickleseimer was convicted of second-degree trespassing. Pickleseimer was to pay court costs.

Julie Michell Pittman was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Pittman was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Robert Lewis Solesbee was convicted of a felony probation violation. Solesbee’s probation was revoked with credit for 56 days.

Montavisus B. Stills was convicted of larceny by trick and conspiracy to larceny. Stills was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.

Jerry Lee Thomas was convicted of trafficking opium or heroin, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Thomas was sentenced to 30 days in jail and court costs.

Z’ Mari,Ty’ T. Williams was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Williams was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
