Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry’s second annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser will be Saturday, Sept. 24 from 4-7 p.m.  Sponsored by Artistry Above and HomeTrust Bank, this year’s event will be held at The Barn at scenic Parker-Binns Vineyard and features a silent art auction and the country music sounds of local band Dog Whistle.

Guests will sample delicious soups provided by six local restaurants – Giardini Trattoria, Huckleberry’s Restaurant & Bakery, Larkin’s Carolina Grill, Lavender Bistro, The Purple Onion and Southside Smokehouse & Grille and fresh baked artisan bread from Standing Stone Bakery. Iced tea and water will be provided. Parker-Binns Vineyard wines and bottled beer will be offered for sale.

Empty Bowls is an international grassroots movement to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger. All proceeds from this Empty Bowls event will benefit Outreach’s food pantry.
