Members of the General Daniel Morgan Chapter #1781 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart took to the I-26 overpass in Landrum Sunday morning to honor their comrades who gave their lives on September 11, 2001. The American Legion Post #250 and McFarland Funeral Chapel held a remembrance ceremony at Polk Memorial Garden Saturday, and both the Landrum and Columbus Fire Departments held observances as well.  (Photo by Michael O’Hearn)
