Free tennis clinics at OP Earle courts for K-8
Published 10:00 pm Tuesday, August 30, 2016
Students of any school in the area are welcome. They will learn the fundamentals of racquet skills, footwork, forehand, backhand, volley and serve. Tennis classes are a fun time in which the kids learn the sport while having a great time. Every lesson has a warm up session (hand-eye coordination, movement, agility) technique session (racquet ground-stroke production) and games session (activities that transfer the new ability acquired into the real game of tennis).
On Oct. 7 there will be a skill tournament and fun tennis party for all participants. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each grade.
Students are encouraged to bring a friend and pre-register or you can register the day of the clinics. Students can attend one or all sessions.
For more information contact Nestor Vargas at 864-431-2442, email him at tennisvargas17@hotmail.com or visit Vargas Total Tennis on Facebook.
Tennis racquets, balls and all necessary equipment will be provided.
