Landrum Library announces Fall Fest lineup

The Landrum Library is excited to announce the lineup for the annual Fall Fest music series coming this September. Fall Fest is a free series of performances the Landrum Library holds on the outdoor stage to promote an eclectic mix of local and regional musicians.

All shows are scheduled for Thursday evenings in September. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and bring lawns chairs and snacks. Pack along a beach towel and have a picnic or tailgate with your family. Shows will move indoors in the event of inclement weather.

Marshall is a singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist artist who performs a mix of folk, slide guitar, and Appalachian roots music. He frequently appears as a host on WNCW radio.

Sept. 8 Redneck Mimosa: 

Led by Todd Hoke, Redneck Mimosa is a trio of Western North Carolina musicians who perform an eclectic mix of rootsy, folk-inspired, Americana music guaranteed to entertain.

Sept. 15 The Motherlode Band: 

Back by popular demand, The Motherlode Band is a local group that performs a mix of soul, classic rock, surf, Motown, and more!

Sept. 22 Hunter Holmes: 

Hunter Holmes is an Upstate acoustic artist who specializes in blues and roots music associated with the textile history of the Piedmont. Fans of music history and local folklore will find this particularly entertaining!

Sept. 29 Buncombe Turnpike: 

Fall Fest 2016 concludes with another returning act back by popular demand! Buncombe Turnpike is an award winning bluegrass group from Asheville that performs contemporary, traditional, and gospel bluegrass tunes.
