On Saturday, Aug. 13, children enjoyed an afternoon in Saluda’s McCreery Park with planned activities. Many volunteers helped Saluda’s city clerk, Tola Ellis, coordinate the events. This was the fourth year that Saluda has received a “Community Matters” grant from the Polk County Community Foundation to fund having inflatables, food and fun for area children.
