For the month of July 2016, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 736 calls for service.

There were 16 felony arrests, 29 misdemeanor arrests, 11 citations issued, 64 civil papers served and 18 criminal papers served.

Officers completed 1,049 house checks, 2,544 business checks, 1,300 church checks, assisted the public 19 times and patrolled 24,913 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 86 inmates, including 56 males and 30 females.
