The next Pea Ridge gathering will be held on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m. in the Community Center.

Area residents and interested persons are cordially invited to attend and bring a churn of homemade ice cream to share. If you are unable to supply ice cream, please bring toppings or fruits, desserts and beverage. Paperware will be furnished.

The Center is located at 207 Big Level Road, 3 ½ miles east of Mill Spring, just off Hwy. 108.

Reminder:  You may bring your recyclables to the center any time all day, Thursday, Aug. 11. The Polk County recycling containers will be located inside the tennis court fence for your drop-off. The truck will pick up later that day or early on Friday, Aug. 12. You may also bring empty egg cartons to be recycled. For information, call Daryl Hardin at 828-894-8376.
