Brown bags available Aug. 19

The supplemental bags of groceries provided by Transfiguration Church contain two boxes of mac and cheese, a large can of beef stew or chicken, a medium sized jar of peanut butter, one container of Parmalat milk or juice, a large can of baked beans, a loaf of bread (donated by the Wildflower bakery each month) and fresh fruit or produce.

The brown bags are given out the third Friday of each month from 3-4 p.m. in the Transfiguration parking lot just above the rear of Saluda School and Henderson Street. Transfiguration also delivers to anyone who has transportation problems and cannot get to the church parking lot.
