Mill Spring event part of ‘NC10 Speaks’ series

Andy Millard, the Democratic nominee for North Carolina’s 10th Congressional District, is hosting a Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Mill Spring Agricultural Center. The Town Hall Meeting, called “NC10 Speaks,” will be Millard’s first in a series of listening sessions that he will host throughout the state’s 10th Congressional District. Millard—a financial planner, a former school teacher and principal—is running against incumbent Representative Patrick McHenry (R).

“Your congressman is your closest representative in Washington,” said Millard. “I want to hear the concerns of those I’m running to represent.” In addition to the Polk County event, Millard will meet with voters at town hall meetings in Gaston, Catawba, Rutherford, Cleveland, Lincoln and Buncombe counties.
