Polk County District Court results for July 13 & 20

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 97 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Mohammad Dha Alshehri was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Alshehri was fined $97 and court costs.

Jakeb A. Arnott was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Arnott was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served.

Blake Rutledge Bailey was convicted of reckless driving-wanton disregard. Bailey was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Joseph Derek Brown was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Brown was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

Jeremy Allen Duncan was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Duncan was fined $20 and court costs.

John Dyer was convicted of second-degree trespass. Dyer was to pay court costs.

Cody Tyler Holmes was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Holmes was to pay court costs.

Reginald W. Lee was convicted of no rear seat belt. Lee was fined $25.

Jade Y. Littlejohn was convicted of level three driving while impaired and driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Littlejohn was sentenced to one year supervised probation, five days in jail with credit for time served, a $500 fine and court costs.

Jennifer Lynn Newton was convicted of failure to appear. Newton was sentenced to seven days in jail with credit for time served.

Travis Lucas Ravan was convicted of two counts of probation violation. Ravan’s probation was revoked.

Kosha Ann Marie Wetzel was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Wetzel was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Camerine Trena Wilcox was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Wilcox was to pay court costs.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Sergey Petrov Bochkar was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Bochkar was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

Byron Allan Born was convicted of misdemeanor larceny and first-degree trespass enter/remain. Born was sentenced to 20 days in jail and court costs.

Shyheim Samone Brown was convicted of common law uttering. Brown was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit and court costs.

James L. Decker was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Decker was fined $100 and court costs.

Robert Marshal Dilling was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Dilling was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, seven days in jail with four days credit, a $400 fine and court costs.

Anthony L. Funderburg was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Funderburg was fined $40.

Vevgeniy Vasil Kondor was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Kondor was fined $50 and court costs.

Darlene Kuhl was convicted of probation violation. Kuhl was sentenced to 90 in prison with probation terminated.

Christopher Lafferty was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Lafferty was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Joey Wayne Lane was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Lane was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, $150 fine and court costs.

Roy Daniel Lawing was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Lawing was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Scarlett J. Mosseller was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Mosseller was fined $50.

Stacey Dean Robinson was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Robinson was fined $50 and court costs.

Harnish P. Trivedi was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Trivedi was fined $94.

Nicholas Walton was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Walton was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.
