During the month of June 2016, the Columbus Police Department answered 438 calls for service.

Arrests included two felony arrests, 10 misdemeanor arrests, three driving while impaired and one fugitive arrest.

There 14 speeding citations, six no operator’s license, three driving while license revoked, 13 drug charges, three uninsured motorists, five careless and reckless driving, four registration violations and one open container

Officers completed 135 residence checks, 5,395 business checks, 173 church checks, assisted other departments 10 times and completed 219 community patrols.
