Join Polk County Recreation to discuss current and future trails projects. Our next meeting will be held on Monday, July 25, at 6 p.m.

The meeting will take place in the Emergency Services Conference Room of the Womack Building, 40 Courthouse Street, Columbus, N.C.

The following volunteer opportunities are available:

Trail Bosses are responsible for walking their trail at least once a month, reporting any maintenance issues and keeping their section clean.

Trail Crew works on maintaining current trails and developing new trails in the county.
