Polk District Court results for July 7

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, July 7, 2016, with Judge T. Mack Brittain presiding, 121 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Charles Tod Kiste was convicted of no operator’s license. Kiste was fined $50 and court costs.

Tyler Jacob Lyda was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor larceny. Lyda was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit.

Angela Lee McEntyre was convicted of possession of heroin. McEntyre was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.

Jorge Padron-Aguilar was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Padron-Aguilar was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Damon Elliotte Pearce was convicted of possession of stolen goods. Pearce was sentenced to 10-24 months at the department of corrections, 48 days with credit and court costs.
