Roots Music Festival coming to downtown Tryon

Pacolet Junior Appalachian Musicians and Tryon Fine Arts Center present the first Roots Music Festival, in collaboration with the Tryon Downtown Development Association.
Join us for free concerts on the Maple Street Plaza, Monday through Thursday, July 18-21 at noon. The impressive lineup features favorite bluegrass performers from around the region. Concerts are open to the public.
The lineup includes:
Monday: Fayssoux McLean and Brandon Turner
Tuesday: Phil & Gaye Johnson
Wednesday: Aaron Burdett
Thursday: Blue Studio
On Friday, July 22 join us at TFAC for a special concert and jam session following the PacJAM summer camp. This concert is free and open to the public, and showcases the skills of PacJAM students and teachers.
On Saturday, July 23 there will be a benefit concert at TFAC starting at 7 p.m. Performers include the Battleaxe Band, Blue Ridge Rounders, Scott Huffman, Arrowood Sisters, and Phil & Gaye Johnson. Donations are accepted at the door, and a silent auction will support PacJAM’s programs.
