Signage in place at Green Creek Community Center walking track

On June 29, signs were installed for the new paved walking track, made possible by a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation to the Green Creek Community Center. This new track winds along the tree line and around the archery field to join Shields Drive and the original walking track, making a loop of 2,800 feet. Many people have been taking advantage of the longer track, especially in the evening when the new track is shady. The center is located at the corner of Coxe Rd. and Green Creek Dr. All are welcome.
