Tryon Police Department was dispatched at 10:04 a.m. Tuesday to a wreck at the intersection of Trade St. and Oak St. According to Tryon Police Chief Jeff Arrowood, the driver of the International tractor-trailer stopped and was trying to figure out how he was going to get down Oak Street. While he was stopped, the car behind him, a 2013 Ford Edge, pulled up to pass him. The truck driver did not see the car when he turned left as it was in his blind spot. There were no injuries, and no one was charged. The northbound lane was closed about 30 minutes. (Photo by Magan Etheridge)
