In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, June 15, with Judge David K. Fox presiding, 93 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Jonathan Michael Bowman was convicted of resisting public officer. Bowman was sentenced to eight days in jail with credit for time served.

Darren Kevin Dale was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Dale was fined $100 and court costs.

Erick Marrique Elvir was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Elvir was fined $40 and court costs.

Victor Santos was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Santos was fined $100 and court costs.

Nelson C. Schiano was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Schiano was fined $93 and court costs.

Shelby Lynn Seaver was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Seaver was to pay court costs.
