Area agencies practice for the worst-case scenario

An active shooter drill took place Tuesday morning beginning at the Isothermal Community College Polk Campus and then at St. Luke’s Hospital in Columbus to train local police, fire and EMS personnel on how to evacuate hospital staff and victims in the case of an active shooter on the hospital campus.
