TFAC and TDDA welcomes Washington, D.C.-based Russkie Musikanti to downtown Tryon for the Farm to Trade event Sunday.

The Russians are coming! Russkie Musikanti will perform at the Farm to Trade Street event in downtown Tryon on Sunday, June 26 at 7 p.m.

Russkie Musikanti is comprised of members of the Washington Balalaika Society (WBS) Orchestra who play a variety of music from Russia, Ukraine and Eastern European countries. The WBS Orchestra has over 50 players and has been active in the Washington D.C. area and beyond for over 25 years. Many performers are volunteers and hope to share music which has a rich history, is exotic yet familiar, and has an incredible variety.

Russkie Musikanti will perform a free concert, presented by the Tryon Fine Arts Center, and sponsored by the Polk County Community Foundation. The concert will be presented in conjunction with the Tryon Downtown Development Association’s ticketed Farm to Trade Street dinner.
