![Friday night was hopping at the Rogers Park Amphitheater when the Firecracker Jazz Band performed to a packed house. As the breeze carried the June tunes to the Tryon treetops, there was much toe-tapping and musical delight in the ragtime and Dixieland numbers brought to music lovers through the Summer Tracks program. Rick Neiman played tuba; Jason Krekel was on the guitar and banjo; Billy Seawell was lively on drums; Earl Sachais on trombone; delivering on the trumpet and bad jokes was Je Widenhouse; Henry Westmoreland was on the sax; and on keyboards was Andrew Fletcher. More free concerts are scheduled for July 1 and 15, and August 5 and 19. Visit summertracks.com for band bios.
