Opening Saturday, June 18 is a collaborative show of Tryon Arts and Crafts School and Upstairs Artspace. The TACS show is entitled “Little Clay One Way” and will feature pottery works that are shoebox size and smaller created by regional pottery artisans. Upstairs Artspace’s show, “Clay Four Ways,” will feature large-scale clay works from four masters of clay sculpture, Eric Knoche, Rob Pulleyn, Mike Vatalaro and Megan Wolfe.

Refreshments will be served at both, and Tryon Arts & Crafts School’s hors d’oeuvre table will also feature shoebox size displays with mini-size snacks.

Both shows open on Saturday night, June 18 from 6-8 p.m. (Upstairs Artspace at 49 S. Trade St. and Tryon Arts & Crafts School at 373 Harmon Field Road), and the public is urged to visit both for this unusual, collaborative artistic experience!
