Polk County District Court results for June 1

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 117 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Tiffany Allison Batton was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Batton was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Amanda Michelle Belue was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Belue was sentenced to two years supervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Brittney Lashai Darity was convicted of possession of stolen goods/property. Darity was sentenced to nine days in jail with credit for time served.

Joshua Blake Galloway was convicted of failure to maintain lane control. Galloway was fined $100 and court costs.

Cindy Moize Hodgson was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation and level 2 driving while impaired. Hodgson was sentenced to two years supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

Paul Junior Miller, II was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Miller’s probation was terminated unsuccessfully.

Amy Marie Smith was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Smith’s probation was revoked with credit given of 41 days.
