Columbus arrests two women for having over 160 fraudulent credit cards

The Columbus Police Department arrested two women in May for possessing more than 160 fraudulent credit cards.

The women made several purchases at several stores in Columbus and surrounding areas, according to police reports.

Jennifer Lee Glass, 31, of Edgerton Terrace, Florida and Z’Mira Williams, 19, of 380 Pearl Lane Windsor, S.C. were both arrested by the Columbus Police Department on May 13.

Williams was charged with obtaining property by false pretense, conspire to obtain property by false pretense, unlawful obtaining a credit card, attempt to obtain property by false pretense, possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia, according to the Columbus Police Department.

Glass was charged with obtaining property by false pretense, conspire to obtain property by false pretense, unlawful obtaining a credit card and attempt to obtain property by false pretense, according to the Columbus Police Department.

The police department is attempting to locate the identities of the people whose credit card information was stolen with assistance from the United States Secret Service, according to the police department. Officers say they expect to issue more charges against Williams and Glass.
