Friendship Council Picnic this Saturday

Join the Thermal Belt Friendship Council for their annual community picnic on Saturday, June 4, at the Harmon Field Log Cabin at 4 p.m. Drinks will be provided by the Tryon Downtown Development Association; please bring a covered dish to share in fellowship at the picnic.
There will be entertainment, including the White Oak Singers as well as Dean Trakas performing on the piano. Door prizes will be given away, and there will be plenty of activities for all ages.
The Thermal Belt Friendship Council is a nonprofit organization formed in 1986. Our purpose is to promote stronger relationships and diversity among the peoples in Polk County, N.C. We are active in promoting social activities that bring diverse groups together to set examples of harmony in the community.
