Elaine Sain Price, 62, of Mill Spring, N.C. went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening, May 17, 2016 at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

Elaine was the daughter of the late Leroy and Gladys Norris Sain. She enjoyed traveling through the mountains and weekend getaways to Tennessee. She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother. She cherished spending time with her family and grandchildren. Elaine was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

Surviving is her husband of 43 years Jerry Edwards Price, one daughter, Kimberly Griffin (Michael) of Mill Spring, N.C.; one son, Jerry Heath Price (Brenda) of Mill Spring, N.C.; two sisters: Kari Ruff (Calvin) of Mill Spring, N.C., Wanda Reynolds (Ray) of Gaffney, S.C.; one brother, T Lee Sain (Annette) of Saluda, N.C.; and her beloved grandchildren: Kristin, Caleb, Rachel, Angel, Zoe, Hannah. Also surviving are dear friends Robert and Barbara Gilbert, and many nieces and nephews. She was loved by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Frank Sain and Carl Sain.

A funeral will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Beulah Baptist Church in Mill Spring, N.C.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3 to 3:45 p.m. at the church.

Burial will follow the service in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
