Polk District Court results for May 4

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, with Judge David K. Fox presiding, 139 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

John Michael Belue was convicted of three counts of injury to personal property, two counts of breaking and/or entering and two counts of larceny after break/enter. Belue was sentenced to 36 months supervised probation and court costs.

David Arias Contreras was convicted of unsafe movement. Contreras was fined $20 and court costs.

Cortez Johnson was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Johnson was fined $40 and court costs.

Robert Vance McCraw was convicted of misdemeanor stalking. McCraw was sentenced to 24 months unsupervised probation and court costs.

Aaron Jacob Peck was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Peck was fined $40 and court costs.

Douglas Kevin Pitts was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Pitts was sentenced to seven days in jail and 24 months unsupervised probation,

Hunter Dillan Walker was convicted of failure to maintain lane control. Walker was fined $100 and court costs.
