During the month of April 2016, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 721 calls for service.

There were 11 felony arrests, 21 misdemeanor arrests, 10 citations issued, 96 civil papers served and 12 criminal papers served.

Officers completed 1,230 house checks, 2,490 business checks, 1,365 church checks, assisted the public 24 times and patrolled 23,434 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked 83 inmates, including 63 males and 20 females.
