Local nonprofits receive share of Parsec Prize

Parsec Financial announces the 2016 recipients of its annual Parsec Prize. For the 11th consecutive year, Parsec Financial is giving back to the communities it serves by awarding ten deserving organizations a share of the annual Parsec Prize. This year, Parsec will be donating $100,000. This donation will be used to further the missions of these local nonprofits who are working to improve the lives of those served with their programs and services.

Parsec Financial founded the Parsec Prize in 2005. Since that time, Parsec has given over $850,000 in prizes to 61 local nonprofits serving western North Carolina and Charlotte. The Parsec Prize represents approximately one half of Parsec’s annual giving. Giving back to the community is a fundamental value at Parsec and they have long maintained a significant commitment to charitable giving.
