Harley “Rick” King Jenkins

Harley “Rick” King Jenkins, Jr., 67, of Columbus, N.C., went home to be with his Lord, Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in his home.

Born in Conway, S.C., he was the son of the late Harley King Jenkins, Sr. and Doris Richardson Jenkins. Rick was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville, N.C. He was an avid golfer, and he loved riding his motorcycle. Rick will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are his wife, Sandy Jenkins, of the home; two daughters, Tara Jenkins and Brittni Jenkins, both of Charlotte, N.C.; his mother, Doris Richardson Jenkins, of Aiken, S.C.; a brother, Joey Jenkins, of Williston, S.C.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Mud Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Halford and Rev. David Stanton officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service.

Burial will be private.
