Ray Berta

Join Foothills Riding Club in welcoming renowned trainer and clinician Ray Berta to our beautiful foothills. Ray will be in town to teach one of his highly anticipated clinics at Rivers Edge Farms in Campobello, S.C., and he has agreed to speak at the FRC April Seminar.

Ray has been conducting clinics and demonstrations for more than 30 years and has worked with thousands of horses in a wide variety of disciplines. His mission is to help riders discover the precious harmony that is possible when the horse is soft in mind and body, balanced and light on his feet.

Ray will discuss his “Seven Keys to Success” method of teaching the rider. Many local equestrians will remember his clinic in 2015. Rider Kemper Penny remarks, “I have worked with Ray for a long time. He works miracles for me. I love his patience and I love his kindness and generosity of spirit. Ray has spent his life working with horses and understands them from untold hours of observing them and how they relate to their world. He is able to explain this to his students and help them to positively work through problems with their horses.”

You may not be able to attend the clinic, but you can learn and get inspired at the April Educational Seminar. The date is April 20, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the talk at 7 p.m. at Landrum Depot, 211 N. Trade St., in Landrum, S.C.

All FRC Seminars are free for FRC members. A donation is suggested for non-members. You can join FRC at the Seminar and get in on all the benefits of membership with your all-discipline (including western dressage) local riding club.
