HB2 billboard pops up in Lynn
Pictured is a billboard that went up in Polk County on Thursday, April 7 at the Hwy. 108/Skyuka Rd. intersection in Lynn in response to the state of North Carolina’s passage of HB2. The billboard was paid for by PlantingPeace.org, “a global nonprofit organization founded for the purpose of spreading peace in a hurting world.” The website is listed out of Topeka, KS and says the group focuses on humanitarian aid and environmental issues including a national deworming campaign, equality house LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning) rights advocacy, orphanages and safe havens and a conservation effort in the rainforests of Peru.
