Columbus, Tryon Farmers Markets now accepting vendor applications for 2016 market season

Columbus’ and Tryon’s farmers markets have announced that they now have openings at both markets for vendors. Vendor applications are now being accepted.

The Columbus Farmers’ Market is now accepting applications for market vendors for the 2016 season. We are accepting new vendors within a 25-mile radius. The market will run every Saturday beginning April 9, 2016 through Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016. The market is located at Courthouse Street in Columbus, N.C. and runs from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. each Saturday.

 

Tryon Farmers Market

The Tryon Farmers Market is now accepting vendor applications, as well. We are accepting new vendors with a 25-mile radius, too. The market season will start Wednesday, May 4, 2016 and run through Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016. The market will be located at Harmon Field in Tryon, N.C. every Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

 

To request an application for either or both markets, you can contact Erica Shanks, market manager, at Erica@polkcountyfarms.org. You can also stop by the Mill Spring Ag Center to pick up an application, as well as drop off completed applications. Vendor fees will be listed on the application for each market.
