An estimated 500 people gathered for the annual Landrum Eggstravaganza at Landrum Library on Saturday, sponsored by the Landrum Area Business Association. According to LABA board member Linda Fitzgerald-Howard, 6,000 eggs were scattered on the library grounds and 57 golden eggs were placed for prize baskets donated by local businesses. Local businesses from Landrum set up tents along the sidewalk at the event to provide activities for the children and the Easter Bunny was delivered by the Landrum Fire Department minutes before the event. Children were able to take photos with the Easter Bunny at the egg hunt until noon. (Photo by Michael O’Hearn)
