K4 class views snake

There was a big flutter of excitement in all of the K4 classes at O.P. Earle Elementary School on March 21. Each K4 student was aware that a special guest was coming. We were lucky enough to come into Mrs. Vaughn’s morning class to witness Mr. Green and his fascinating animal skins, skulls, and more. There were turkey beards and feathers, deerskins and skulls, and a snapping turtle shell (not to mention, the live snake).

The kids were jumping out of their seats with fascination and curiosity. They couldn’t get enough of the interesting things to see.

The students were saddened that they couldn’t spend more time with Mr. Green and his menagerie of items. Mr. Green was given a send off with a big thank you shout from the class for coming to O.P. Earle. It was evident that there was much appreciation for Mr. Green and his special presentation.
