On Thursday, March 3, 19 members of Saluda Community Land Trust met at the Polk County Community Foundation to forge the terms of the agreement to form an endowment that would be used to sustain SCLT into the future. The group agreed that income generated from the endowment would be used to preserve and maintain trails and properties that SCLT owns or leases. This ensures that future generations will have access to nature and open spaces and the means to keep the vision of this group alive.
