Polk County Manager Marche Pittman said the accident has led Pack to be admitted to a regional hospital.

“We would like to confirm for the public that there will be no loss of service to citizens during his hospitalization,” said Pittman. “In his role as vice-chairman of the Polk County Board of Commissioners, Keith Holbert is responsible for filling in for Chairman Pack during any type of absence.”

Pittman continues to handle the day-to-day operations of Polk County as he does on a daily basis.

“We ask that citizens keep the Pack family in their thoughts and prayers,” said Pittman.
