Art of the Horse coming to Tryon

Be on the lookout in April for something new downtown and throughout Polk County and Landrum. Our Carolina Foothills presents life sized fiberglass horses, each with a unique design by local artists as a spring/summer draw to our region.
We are pleased that four of the artists chosen for this project live in Tryon. Local talent Christine Mariotti is one of three artists designing multiple horses. Other artists include the team of Joan McIntrye and Sarah Holmberg, Kim Attwooll and Lee Barker.
Tryon businesses and individuals have also been supportive of Art of the Horse. Diamond B Fuel, FENCE by Ivey Sumeral, Millard & Company, Main Street Financial, Overmountain Vineyards, Remax Advantage Realty, and Scott Lane have all made this possible by being sponsors.
