Music camp scholarship students give concert at Tryon Estates

On Feb. 16, 12 gifted students from local high schools showcased their varied talents in a musical evening at Tryon Estates in Columbus. These students have been awarded scholarships by the Laurel Lake Music Society, which includes their tuition, room and board for three weeks at the acclaimed Cannon Music Camp at the Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University. The awards are made possible by the very generous donations from Tryon Estates residents.
