The royal court in the Tryon Little Theater’s rollicking medieval musical “Once Upon a Mattress” consists of Sir Harry (Alex Harrelson) who adores the lovely Lady Larken (Casy Fowler), Queen Aggravain (Debbie Craig-Archer) who is thoroughly ticked off because her son Prince Dauntless the Drab (Bill Wuehrmann) is madly in love, which is fine with his dad King Sextimus (George Alley), and with the object of his affection, Princess Winnifred the Woebegone (Sandi Chrysler). “Mattress” opens at the Workshop on Thursday, Feb. 18, to play Feb. 18-20 and 25-27 at 8 p.m., with 3 p.m. matinees Sunday, Feb. 21 and 28. For tickets call 828-859-2466, or book online at TLTinfo.org.
