District One recognizes support staff honorees

District One is proud to recognize the 2015-2016 support staff honorees.
This year we honored a school nurse, a bookkeeper, an SRO, custodians, teacher assistants, and office professionals.
These individuals were chosen by their colleagues because they go above and beyond what is expected on a daily basis to help the district provide a quality, student-centered education.
We should never forget the individual and collective impact our support staff makes on children and their co-workers every day. They mentor and care for students; they make our schools inviting and pleasant to be in; they keep us safe; they take care of the health needs of students and adults; they keep us organized and doing our jobs well. They are truly the support that is needed for everyone to be successful.
We cannot express to our support staff enough what their presence and roles in our schools mean on a daily basis. Congratulations and thank you for a job well done!
