No time for me

Well, I just had my second operation, removing tumors from my bladder and chemo was applied. I’ll have to have a treatment every Tuesday for the next six weeks. Except for the fact that I constantly feel the urge to urinate and I’m always sleepy, I feel fine. I just wish to speak of two cases from last week.
One is Cleo, a five-year-old female Jack Russell. I took her to Upstate Veterinary Specialists to see my good friend Dr. Keith Allen and of course he performed wonders to heal her leg. Cleo will be on 12 weeks of light duty, which means to take it easy as the leg mends. Cleo has a great loving family and though it’s hard to keep a Jack Russell in check, they’ll do their part.
Merlin the pig wasn’t so lucky. Merlin was just seven years old but had internal problems that couldn’t be fixed. I did get to meet some great people at the Tryon Equine Hospital where Merlin was tended to.
All I can say is that Merlin was a good pig that loved his Cheerios. He’ll be missed.
God bless and thanks for listening.
