Tryon Little Theater brings another zany story to the stage with the upcoming production of “Once Upon A Mattress.” This hit Broadway musical puts a new spin on the beloved tale of the Princess and the Pea. You’ll meet a princess who is anything but dainty, a prince who is less than heroic, and a queen who is, well, a royal pain. The show will have families laughing and singing along, right up until the “happily ever after.”

Tryon Little Theater’s production is led by veteran director Debbie Craig-Archer and musical director Pam McNeil, and features many local favorites in the cast of colorful characters. Performances will be at the Tryon Little Theater workshop at 516 S. Trade Street, Feb. 18-28.  Shows are at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 3 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are available online at tltinfo.org or by calling the Tryon Little Theater box office at 828-859-2466.
