The Foothills Music Club, Inc. held its January meeting on Jan. 14 at the home of Richard and Lynn Bayley. The program consisted of vocal and instrumental selections from operatic repertoire ranging from Caccini, Mozart, Rossini, Offenbach, Bizet and Barber, indeed, a brief history.

The FMC encourages older musicians to continue to be active and young musicians to pursue their musical studies by awarding scholarships each year. Scholarship auditions will be held in early March.
