During the month of December 2015, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 742 calls for service.

There were 14 felony arrests, 18 misdemeanor arrests, 27 citations issued, 27 criminal papers and 73 civil papers served.

Officers completed 1,071 house checks, 2,898 business checks, 1,482 church checks, assisted the public 27 times and patrolled 23,924 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked 68 total inmates, including 47 males and 21 females.
